* What is Multiphysics? A general guideline for a definition of the term multiphysics simulations will be given. Additionally, we will explain related topics like multidisciplinary and multi-scale simulations. * Why do Multiphysics? Some remarks on justification of multiphysics simulation will be discussed. We will talk about technical as well as business related (in terms of a business case) issues. * Application Cases: Some recent industrial applications of multiphysics simulations will be demonstrated.* * Challenges: Technical topics, e.g. validation and verification, and organizational topics, like training and skills requirements, will be touched here. * The Future: In an open discussion we will investigate future requirements for multiphysics simulations.
